Key Goals for every School website

Every school website should have the following seven items. Check now to see if you're up-to-date:

Staff Listing - searchable, navigable list of the key people that run programs in your school, complete with name, position, room, phone, email, and personal web page (if available). This must always be up-to-date.
Program Offerings - a complete list of all course and program offerings, searchable and navigable, and includes programs from academic, extracurricular, social and emotional, and activities and clubs. All listing should prominently feature contact information for people in-charge of the program, in addition to key enrollment criteria.
Calendar of Events - professional and clear, featuring a full range of events, updated in the past 7 days.
News & Updates - clear titles, well-written, and descriptive of key programs and announcement affecting your school community, updated in the past 7 days.
School Policies - a complete list and full-text description of all policies and procedures that are required of all staff and/or student members. All items should clearly be dated, and changes noted in the documents. These materials may be open to the public or required username and password access by your staff and employees.
School Improvement Planning Materials - School improvement, technology improvement, and other improvement planning documents should be publically available online.
